Logan Paul To Appear On SmackDown

Logan Paul will be appearing on WWE Television next week. The YouTube star has been announced for the April 2nd episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

The YouTube star will be the special guest for Sami Zayn’s red carpet premiere. The segment is being promoted as showcasing the trailer for Sami’s upcoming documentary he has producing over the past few months. According to the former Intercontinental Champion, the project will outline the injustices he has experienced in his recent times in WWE.

Both Logan and Sami have been interacting with each other on social media, with Zayn sending the YouTube star raw footage via direct messages on Twitter:

Logan Paul is best known for his channel on YouTube, where he currently has around 23 million subscribers. He also has a background in boxing, with two previous fights against fellow YouTube star KSI. A fight between Logan and professional boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather will also take place in the future, but this has postponed to an unconfirmed date in the future.

The appearance was confirmed on The Kevin Owens Show, in which Sami Zayn was a guest. Also in this segment, it was confirmed that Owens vs. Zayn will take place on night 1 of WrestleMania. Last night on Twitter, Logan confirmed his appearance for the show:

Logan Paul is not the only member of his family with previous fighting experience. Jake Paul, brother of Logan, will also be competing in April. Jake will be facing UFC fighter Ben Askren in a boxing match on April 17th. Askren has also had interest from WWE, and had visited the Performance Center back in October 2020.
