Logan Paul and Ricochet have big things planned for their SummerSlam clash in Detroit including preparations for a huge “viral moment!”
In their two confrontations throughout 2023 so far, Logan Paul and Ricochet have wowed fans with their daring and athletic spots. In the Royal Rumble, the two collided in mid-air after attempting simultaneous springboard clotheslines which went viral across social media.
The two attempted yet another memorable move during the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match in July. Whilst attempting a springboard Spanish Fly through two tables on the outside, Ricochet unfortunately tripped and caused the spot to go awry.
But as they say, the third time’s the charm and the duo seem to have made preparations for another huge moment during their upcoming match at SummerSlam!
WrestleVotes on X (formerly Twitter) divulged some details on Paul and Ricochet’s plans for their bout, revealing that the two had a training session together on August 1st and have “high expectations on themselves” to deliver a viral moment together.
“In preparation for tonight’s match, I’m told Logan Paul & Ricochet put in a dual training session together at the PC on 8/1. The two have placed high expectations on themselves for a “viral” moment tonight.”
How Successful Has Logan Paul Been In WWE?
The social media star currently holds a 2-4 win/loss record in WWE and 1-3 if you only consider singles matches. Paul’s two victories came at WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam 2022 where he defeated The Mysterios and The Miz respectively.
Paul has unfortunately not won a WWE match in over a year. In his last four bouts, he lost to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, lost the Men’s Royal Rumble to Cody Rhodes, lost to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39 and lost the Men’s Money In the Bank Ladder match to Damian Priest.
