Despite only being three matches in his WWE career, Logan Paul defied his inexperience in turning in another acclaimed performance at WWE Crown Jewel. A performance made even more impressive by the fact that he suffered a knee injury part way through the bout.
While the injury might have been expected to slow Paul down, there was no sign of it as he pushed Roman Reigns to the limit and then some. Although Reigns retained his Undisputed WWE Universal Title, it was the YouTube star that everyone was talking about.
Logan Paul Confirms How Long He’ll Be Out Of Action
Earlier in November Jake Paul revealed that while it was initially feared his brother had damaged his ACL, that wasn’t the case. Instead he damaged his MCL and Meniscus. In a new update on his vlog, the man himself has broken down exactly what comes next.
“As everyone knows, I ended up tearing my knee, and I actually told my manager during the match. What was I going to do, stop? No, everyone was looking at me and I still had a five-star frog splash to hit,”
In the video, Paul sees a doctor who explains the full extent of the damage to his knee, and how long he will be out of the ring.
“You have a significant tear of the MCL, you have what we call a Grade 3, which is almost a complete tear of the MCL. We’re going to treat this with a brace and rehab, it’s going to take a minimum of six weeks for this to heal fully.”
Paul added that he has been attending rehab every day, before teasing when he’ll be back. However, the video cuts off before he gives a date.
“I’ve been soaking my knee in rice, it’s working, I’ve been going to physical therapy every day and sports rehab, it’s been great thus far. As of now, it looks like I’ll be back to the WWE, sometime in…”
Despite the injury Logan Paul recently called out John Cena for a match at WrestleMania 39, claiming that he’s already pitched the match to Triple H.
