After a hiatus of over two years from the boxing scene, Logan Paul has revealed the adversary he will confront in his return to the sport.
In a tweet sent earlier today, Logan Paul made it known that he would be facing Mixed Martial Artist Dillon Danis on October 14th, referring to his opponent as “a little parasite.”
“OCTOBER 14 I return to boxing after fighting Floyd Mayweather over 2 years ago.
I doubt this little parasite will show up but if he does I’m going to erase him from existence.
The PRIME Card — Oct 14 in Manchester, live on DAZN PPV!”
The news closely follows Logan Paul’s victory over Ricochet at WWE SummerSlam just three days ago, which has only added to the surprise of the announcement.
Paul has previously stated that he only trains in boxing, even when he has an upcoming professional wrestling match, so it can be assumed that he is suitably prepared for the boxing face-off with Danis.
However, with only two months until the bout, he will undoubtedly need to train extremely hard, raising a question on whether he will be appearing on WWE television following his SummerSlam win.
His opponent on October 14th, Dillon Danis, currently competes for Bellator MMA, and boasts a record of two wins and zero losses.
What Is Logan Paul’s Boxing Record?
Logan Paul has only competed in three boxing matches since 2018 and currently holds a record of two losses and one draw. His first bout against YouTuber KSI ended in a draw on August 25th, 2018.
Paul would then compete in a rematch with KSI on November 19th, 2019. In this professional bout, he lost to KSI via Split Decision.
Logan Paul’s most recent boxing appearance was over two years ago, when he faced off with boxing megastar Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition match on June 6th, 2021, in a losing effort.
