Logan Paul tragically lost his dog, Kong, to a coyote attack back in 2019. He has now gone into detail about how he hunted down the animal responsible for the death.
Speaking on the Jeff FM podcast, Paul recounted how his Pomeranian, Kong began barking at two coyotes which were then able to find their way into his yard.
“Okay, here’s what happened. My dog got eaten by a coyote Kong, little tiny Pomeranian he was barking at the coyote. He sent something on the other side of the gate and he was I’m gonna be honest. He was provoking them and he thought he was a big a*s dog. He’s one of the little dogs that thought he was a big dog.”
So he’s barking at the coyotes and uh both of them found a weak spot in my fence that they felt they could penetrate and they did. They jumped over my eight-foot-tall spiked fence in L.A. These things are nimble and came into my yard. Now you’re trespassing. You’ve broken a law in my eyes. Killed my son. You killed the dog that I love.”
Logan Paul explains how he sought revenge
Logan Paul decided he couldn’t let the death go unpunished, and spent two weeks studying coyote behaviour so he could hunt Kong’s killers down. The WWE star wore camouflage and sat in wait in a tree with his bow and arrow.
“I sat there for two weeks every fu***ng night. I have stuff to do bro, I sat outside for five hours a night listening to Joe Rogan. That’s why I was gonna tell it on Joe Rogan listening to Rogan’s podcast waiting for these coyotes to come down as they do on my street one on either side.”
Despite some false alarms, the coyotes never did reappear, although he does still have his bow and arrow ready and waiting if they do turn up.
“I have my bomb standing at the end of my driveway. It’s been two years of this bull**t bro. I don’t see any coyotes.”
Logan Paul was last seen on WWE TV when he took on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The star was unable to overcome The Tribal Chief and has since revealed that he injured his knee during the bout.
Paul has recently given an update on how long he is likely to be out of action, saying the injury, a torn MCL, will take at least six weeks to heel. He is currently undergoing physical therapy and sports rehab.
