Logan Paul has hit a new milestone as the WWE United States Champion.
On November 4th, 2023, Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio to become the WWE United States Champion, his first title in the company. Since then, he has only defended the title twice, first defeating Kevin Owens by DQ at the 2024 Royal Rumble when Owens used the star’s own brass knuckles against him.
The second defence came in a Triple Threat match against Owens and Randy Orton. Just when it looked like Orton had the match won with an RKO on Owens, Paul threw him out of the ring and hit a Frog Splash to steal the victory.
Back in May, Logan Paul hit 200 days as the US Champion, now, he has reached a more impressive milestone with the title. Having hit 257 days as champion on July 18th, the YouTube star has surpassed Austin Theory’s reign to become the longest-reigning US Champion of the last decade. His record will continue to grow for a few more weeks too, as he is not scheduled to defend the gold again until SummerSlam on August 3rd.
Logan Paul To Face LA Knight At WWE SummerSlam
After weeks of rising tensions between the two, on the July 19th edition of WWE SmackDown, Logan Paul officially granted LA Knight a US title match at SummerSlam. The pair had a heated exchange on the mic during the contract signing, eventually leading to Paul trying to attack Knight, only to have to retreat out of the ring.
