Logan Paul Calls Out Conor McGregor

Logan Paul

After more than two years away from the sport, Logan Paul is set to return to boxing.

On August 8th it was announced that Logan Paul will be lacing up his gloves on October 14th to take on MMA fighter Dillon Danis. Following the announcement of the fight, Paul wasted little time in going after his opponent, referring to him as a “parasite.”

Conor McGregor was also quick to respond, writing “Dillion Danis returns” on social media, to which Paul replied, “You’re next.”

In his time away from boxing, Paul has starred in WWE, competing at a number of high-profile events and even wrestling Roman Reigns. The YouTube star’s most recent outing came at SummerSlam where he defeated Ricochet, thanks to a little help from a friend and some brass knuckles.

Paul has often spoken of his desire to combine careers in boxing and wrestling and sees no need to choose between them.

When Was Logan Paul’s Last Boxing Match?

Logan Paul last stepped in a boxing ring in June 2021 when he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an eight-round exhibition. This came after being defeated by KSI in his only professional bout two years before that. Paul also faced KSI under amateur rules in 2018 and that match was declared a draw.

Conor McGregor also has history with Floyd Mayweather Jr. having faced the star in 2017 in what was the latter’s final match as a professional, having come out of retirement for a third time. MMA star McGregor went nine rounds with Mayweather before losing via TKO in the 10th.

Mayweather’s most recent exhibition ended in farce as the match was thrown out for “Excessive Trash Talking” which sparked a brawl in the crowd.
