Logan Paul Breaks Silence On Rumoured Conor McGregor Fight

WWE star Logan Paul has commented on the rumours that he could be fighting former UFC Champion Conor McGregor.

Absent from the Octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021 at UFC 264, McGregor’s future in the combat sports world remains uncertain due to his hiatus from MMA and recent court case. In November 2024, a jury found the MMA fighter liable for an assault case and was ordered to pay £207,000 in damages and cover the legal costs of Nikita Hand, who filed the case.

In mid-December, Conor McGregor commented on his future in combat sports with a surprising update, stating that he had agreed to a boxing match in India against Logan Paul before returning to the octagon. According to McGregor, the fight would be funded by the Ambani family, who are one of the richest families in the world with Mukesh Ambani having a current net worth of $98.3 billion.

Following McGregor’s update, rumours began to spread that should the fight go ahead, Paul and McGregor would each receive $250 million regardless of the result.

Aware of the buzz the rumoured fight has attracted, Paul spoke about the possibility of fighting McGregor on his vlog. Aware of the rumoured prize fund and the high-profile bout, the former United States Champion had no issues fighting the UFC star:

“If Conor McGregor wants to fight, we’re running it. It’s an epic fight. I would step away from WWE for a second to go do (the fight). $250 million. If Nick Khan matches that, I’ll stay in the WWE. I think he’s trying to pressure Dana (White) into making it happen. He’s owned by the UFC. He can’t f*cking sh*t, let alone fight, without them knowing,”

Also in the vlog, Paul asked Ari Emanuel for a favour, indicating that he wanted the fight to be made official.

Logan Paul Calls Out Major Name

Following the announcement that he was now a member of the Raw roster, Paul has stated that in 2025 pro wrestling will be his priority. Having already called out World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Logan Paul has also laid down the challenge to a major name in the entertainment world.

H/t to Fightful.
