Logan Paul has taken aim at Bad Bunny over his tax status, accusing the star of exploitation.
After two AEW stars became engaged in a war of words on social media and via interviews, it appears that two part-time WWE Superstars have now got in on the action.
The controversy stemmed from comments made by Bad Bunny in a documentary about Puerto Rico’s tax legislation. Act 22 means residents in the country don’t need to pay tax on transactions involving stock or real estate. This had led a number of people from around the world to move there for financial gain.
In the documentary, Bad Bunny highlighted the gentrification caused by the law, and mentioned Puerto Rican resident Logan Paul by name.
The YouTube star has now hit back in an interview of his own on the “The Philip DeFranco Show”.
Paul blasted Bad Bunny for taking advantage of the same tax system that he is condemning.
“Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican living in Puerto Rico who is privately taking advantage of the same tax program that he is publicly condemning, I know this, and I see things like this and it hurts.”
“There are local Puerto Ricans that know about this,” Paul continued. “I see this music video that has stuck me in the middle of it that is surrounded by context that makes me look like a vulture in Puerto Rico.”
Logan Paul is set to return to the ring at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia where he will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Meanwhile, Triple H confirmed that he has held talks with Bad Bunny over a return to the company.
