Logan Paul has revealed the story behind acquiring the incredibly rare Pokémon card he wore to the ring at WrestleMania.

Logan Paul’s WrestleMania entrance gear was worth over $5 million thanks in part to the rare Pokémon card that he wore around his neck.

Taking to social media, Paul revealed how he came to acquire the card after months of negotiation thanks to help from Jeremy Padawer, who is AEW’s current partner at Jazwares, the company that makes the AEW toy line.

“the real star of Wrestlemania — my 1/1 PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator that I purchased for $5,275,000, officially setting the Guinness World Record for ‘most expensive Pokémon trading card sold at a private sale’

“An absurd amount of $$ for cardboard, but let me explain: the Pikachu Illustrator is the rarest Pokémon card in the world. Only 39 of them exist, and this is the ONLY PSA 10 (perfect condition). Until this weekend, there were no pictures or videos of this card ANYWHERE.

“The previous owner was extremely private, and it’s existence was only a rumor. With a connection made by collectible expert @JeremyCom, I finally found the seller and insisted he sell it to me. I travelled to Dubai last year to secure it after five months of negotiation.

“It’s held in an $80k custom diamond pendant with a Pokéball bail. This is the pinnacle of Pokémon. YouTube video coming later this month.”

Logan Paul competed alongside The Miz at WrestleMania, and the pair were successful in defeating Rey and Dominik Mysterio. However, after the match was over, The Miz turned on Logan Paul and laid him out with a Skull Crushing Finale.
