On the June 19th episode of WWE Raw, Logan Paul returned to the sports entertainment giant, and unsurprisingly he returned in a big way.
At the segment began the star perched himself at the top of a ladder in the ring and named a list of famous people from Cleveland, before claiming that what made him great was leaving. Paul said that he wanted to put some respect back on Clevland’s name, and revealed that he’d reached out to WWE Executives and had been invited to take part in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
This brought out all of the competitors in the match aside from Damian Priest and a brawl eventually erupted that saw Paul stand tall when all was said and done.
Speaking to Byron Saxton after the show, the YouTube star said after such fighting talk he has to go on and win.
“I gotta win. I just cut a promo about this entire city [Cleveland] losing. And I’d like to win, I think I’d like a WWE Championship on my resume. I don’t really like following the traditional path — so I’m gonna take the shortcut, take that briefcase, cash it in, beat whoever I have to.”
When asked whether he felt any nerves while sitting at the top of the ladder, Paul admitted that he did, but still backed himself to succeed.
“Hell yeah!” Paul responded. “I’m nervous. It’s been a while since I was back, you know? But I’m the maverick, dog. I like to fly. I like to perch high, and I like to jump. And I did it.”
Logan Paul Heaps Praise On Bad Bunny
Logan Paul has been heavily praised for his in-ring appearances and along with Bad Bunny, many believe the pair have raised the bar when it comes to celebrity performances. During a recent episode of his podcast, the star said that while he can surprise people, Bad Bunny deserves more credit as he doesn’t have an athletic background.
