Logan Paul Addresses Part-Time Status Following WWE Title Victory

Logan Paul Preparing For Intense WWE Schedule

Logan Paul looks set to appear on WWE TV more regularly.

Currently a part-time performer, fans were concerned about the state of SmackDown following Paul’s United States Championship victory. With the YouTube star not on TV every week, both Tag Team Champions are allowed to float between brands and Roman Reigns appearances getting rarer and rarer, Iyo Sky is the only full-time champion on the blue brand. However, Paul has addressed this and has acknowledged that he will need to up his game.

Speaking with ESPN, Paul was asked if he would be making more regular appearances now he is a champion. Paul stated that he plans to be on TV more and will also appear across multiple shows:

“I think I have to. You’re going to have to watch Raw. You’re going to have to watch SmackDown. I’m going to make some surprise appearances and show these wrestlers who’s the real king.”

Addressing his long-term future as a Superstar, the United States Champion made it clear that keeping ahold of the title is his top priority and admitted that he would have to take regular classes at the Performance Center and to be with the company for the long term:

“I have a bit of occupational ADHD. So, wherever my attention goes, wherever the people are the most entertained. And at the moment, that is the WWE, and [I’m] just focused on building my brands and protecting this belt, keeping it around my waist.”

“Imagine if I go to the Performance Center in Orlando and train with the best? I have access to the best resources. It might be something I have to do, I’m all about legacy, and perhaps my legacy is to be made to WWE,”

Paul gave another interview with The Daily Mail following the victory and described his relationship with Triple H and how receptive he is to the ideas pitched by the YouTube star, expressing how happy he is that he can have some creative input:

“I’m so stoked that Triple H and the company believes in my like they do. Hopefully, I can make them proud and I know I will. He’s super receptive to my ideas. I’m a content creator – keyword creator. I like to make stuff, I come up with ideas. When I pitch my ideas, he’s all ears all the time.”

“We bounce ideas off each other, we go back and forth and usually land on stuff that’s pretty epic. It’s super collaborative and I like that they give me the freedom to be who I am in their company.”

How Did Logan Paul Win The US Title?

Paul’s first championship win came after striking former champion Rey Mysterio with brass knuckles, awarding Logan Paul with his first WWE Championship at Crown Jewel. Along with Paul’s usual display of athletic abilities, many are praising the new champion for saving Mysterio from potential injury in the match. As Mysterio went for a springboard moonsault, the Hall of Famer looked set to land headfirst into the mat if Paul did not catch him in time.

Addressing his brother possibly making a return in wrestling, Logan Paul has hinted that Jake Paul may return to WWE.
