Cash Wheeler Responds To Social Media Backlash

Last week Cash Wheeler took to social media to defend FTR partner Dax Harwood following social media pushback after his ongoing comments on AEW and CM Punk.

During the post, Wheeler would state that everyone involved in the AEW x Elite x Punk situation needs to do better and that he is tired of the negativity from all sides.

Wheeler’s comments were met, as expected, by a mix of support and anger from fans depending how they view the ongoing CM Punk dilemma in AEW.

The two Tweets, that have since generated a collective almost one million impressions, are still gaining tracking with every fan weighing in on how they would handle the CM Punk problem if they were Tony Khan.

Wheeler has since take to social media to let fans know that if they are still commenting, he isn’t reading because he is too busy enjoying life.

CM Punk

How Would Twitter Solve AEW's CM Punk Dilemma If They Were Tony Khan

Everybody knows that if there is one thing Twitter loves, it is an opinion.

So last night we took to Twitter to find out how wrestling fans across the globe would solve AEW’s CM Punk dilemma, if they were Tony Khan.

Here are some of the most popular responses:

AEW Talent's Chris Jericho & CM Punk

“Punk vs. Jericho, if they’ll agree to do it. If they do business, with CJ being the first star/veteran/cornerstone of AEW, it sets an example for everyone else. Plus the real heat they’ve had would keep audiences on their toes and blur the line between work and shoot.” – @BJLisko

AEW President Tony Khan

“To be honest he should release him. It would make a statement that Tony will not let anyone go into business for themselves in his company without consequence.” – @garyh3k

CM Punk leaning on turnbuckle

“Get him to apologize to the roster first. Then take him, The Elite and some backup into a room and mend fences. Then get him to apologize to the fans in the ring while telling beforehand that if he has another meltdown or shoots someone again, he’s fired and banned.” – @AcpwFox98

Do you agree with any of these solutions? You can write in and tell us how you would solve the CM Punk dilemma, here.
