SmackDown Superstar Liv Morgan has revealed how she’d love a rematch with the Bella Twins, calling their first match a “pinch me” moment.
“They have so much knowledge, you know? They’ve been around and been through all the waves of the women’s evolution in WWE. They just have so much more to give, and I think they definitely have one more run in them. So if they’re up for it, Ruby and I are always down – we never say no to a challenge.”
Liv Morgan went on to say how she grew up watching the Bella Twins on Total Divas, revealing how she looked up to Brie and Nikki before getting to share the ring with them.
“We’re not strangers to working with Nikki and Brie, and they were fantastic. I grew up watching them and watching them on Total Divas, just wishing and hoping that one day that could be me. So fast forward a couple of years later, and I’m in Australia wrestling the Bella Twins – it was like a pinch me moment.”
The Bella Twins have previously spoken of their desire to return to WWE for a run with the Women’s Tag Team Championships – a goal Morgan aspires to as well.
“We’ve been dying to have tag titles. So, she and I feel like we have one more run in us, so we really want to go for those titles.”
Earlier this week, footage emerged of Liv Morgan wrestling Brodie Lee Jr, the son of the late WWE Superstar Luke Harper. Meanwhile, the Riott Squad star recently opened up to Inside The Ropes about her same sex storyline with Lana.
WWE fans in the UK and Ireland can watch Liv Morgan on SmackDown every Friday night on BT Sport.
