Liv Morgan finally sets the record straight on tag team split worries.
Last week on WWE RAW, some tension arose between Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez after the former lost to Kairi Sane due to Roxanne Perez “mistakenly” costing The Judgment Day member the match. However, it seems like everything is resolved for the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
On this week’s RAW Recap with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant, The Judgment Day duo was asked about last week and their status as a duo. Morgan answered that she reviewed the footage and stated that it wasn’t Raquel’s fault, and she just got caught in the heat of the moment.
“I got a chance to review the footage and it was a lot of the heat of the moment, but it wasn’t Raquel’s fault. Yes, I was upset. I was upset for her letting Roxanne get involved, but that’s really like a Roxanne thing and not a Raquel thing. And she did her best to try to mitigate it. I wasn’t able to see it clearly, but after, you know, reviewing the footage, I could see that my sister was just trying to be there for me. She was just trying to help.”
Morgan was in action again on this week’s show in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match against Ivy Nile and Stephanie Vaquer.
Raquel also competed on the episode in a singles match against Kairi Sane. Despite Liv on Rodriguez’s corner to interfere, IYO SKY foiled their plans, causing The Pirate Princess to win.
Liv Morgan Doesn’t Want To Get Involved With Roxanne Perez
Although Liv Morgan has forgiven Raquel Rodriguez for what happened last week on RAW, it’s clear there’s still some animosity between her and Roxanne Perez.
In the same RAW Recap show, the former Women’s World Champion said that Perez should just stay away from her as she doesn’t want to babysit Roxanne, but Finn Balor can. Morgan added that she wasn’t getting paid to be a babysitter, so it’s not something that she will be doing any time soon.
