Liv Morgan and Carmella are on a collision course after their tag team bout on SmackDown with Carmella accepting Morgan’s challenge for a match at Extreme Rules.
Carmella has been embracing her beauty in recent months, frequently referring to herself as “the most beautiful woman in WWE.” This was her downfall on SmackDown as the first-ever Miss Money In The Bank teamed with Zelina Vega to face Liv Morgan and Toni Storm. This match was originally scheduled for the 10th of September edition of SmackDown in Madison Square Garden but was reportedly cut from the show while the show was airing.
With the four women getting to go at it in Knoxville, Tennessee, Liv Morgan threw Carmella into the middle turnbuckle causing Carmella to flounce out of the ring fearing she had broken her nose. This caused Morgan and Storm to pick up the win by count out.
After that Liv Morgan issued her challenge to Carmella to meet her in a one-on-one match at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view with Carmella accepting the challenge in the locker room.
Extreme Rules promises to be a packed show emanating from Columbus, Ohio with Roman Reigns defending his WWE Universal Championship in the presumed main event against The Demon incarnation of Finn Balor. The Bloodline also sees their SmackDown Tag Team Championship under threat as The Usos defend their gold against The Street Profits.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch gives Bianca Belair her rematch for the title she lost in under thirty seconds at SummerSlam. The RAW Women’s Championship will be on the line as well as Charlotte Flair defends her championship against the twisted Alexa Bliss.
The WWE United States Championship will also be on the line as Damian Priest defends his title against the man he defeated for the title, Sheamus.
