Liv Morgan has revealed her favourite match of her career so far – a six-woman tag team match at the all-female Evolution event.
“My favorite match I’ve ever had”
The match in question was a six-woman tag team match that saw Morgan team with her fellow Riott Squad members Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. The trio would face the team of Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya. The match would end when Liv Morgan herself was hit with a trinity of moves by her opponents. Nataly would powerbomb Morgan, leaving her prone for Bayley to hit her flying elbow drop. Sasha Banks then reaped the benefits by hitting her frog splash and pinning Morgan for the victory.
WWE Evolution was an all-female event that took place in October 2018. All three women’s championships at the time were defended on the show along with the final of the 2018 Mae Young Classic. In that final Toni Storm would defeat future NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. Shayna Baszler would defeat Kairi Sane in a match for the NXT Women’s Championship. Baszler would win by choking Sane out in her kirifuda clutch submission hold.

Becky Lynch would retain her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in a Last Woman Standing match with Charlotte Flair. Flair was unable to answer the ten-count following a powerbomb from the middle rope through a table to the outside. The main event of the event would see ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey defend her WWE Raw Women’s Title against Nikki Bella. Rousey would retain the title after trapping Bella in her armbar submission.
