Liv Morgan Makes First WWE Appearance Since Horrific Injury

Liv Morgan is all smiles at WWE event

Liv Morgan has graced the WWE cameras once again. The 7-time WWE champion has been on the shelf since mid-June, with rumors and speculation increasing on potential comeback plans and Liv’s future with The Judgment Day. Officials just gave a good look at Morgan’s WWE future with a special appearance.

The Miracle Kid was one-half of the only four-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez when she suffered a shoulder injury on June 16 while tangling in the ring with Kairi Sane. Sources expected Liv Morgan to be out of action for around 4 months, depending on the severity and recovery. This timeline began speculation on a potential return at Crown Jewel in Australia on October 11, if not the weeks before or after the PLE. However, just days after Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez dropped the Women’s Tag Team Championship to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam, Finn Balor dropped a big update on RAW, noting how his stablemate was getting stronger each day in rehab, but will be back in around 6-8 months.

If the update from one-half of the World Tag Team Champions is accurate, that would put Morgan back in the ring some time between early February and the first week of April, which is just in time for WrestleMania 42 Season, perhaps for the inaugural Royal Rumble in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or The Grandest Stage of Them All in Las Vegas on April 18-19.

Buzz over Liv Morgan picked up when a recent report noted how multiple WWE TV returns were in the works. It was then revealed just today that the 31-year-old is training at the WWE Performance Center, although it was mentioned that fans should not expect to see Liv wrestle anytime soon. However, the chatter spiked back up this afternoon when Morgan was brought to Las Vegas for the big announcement teased all week by Triple H.

Liv Morgan Still A Face Of WWE

WWE’s Chief Content Officer appeared at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas today to officially announce WrestleMania 43 in 2027 for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Triple H was joined by KSA Chairman of the KSA General Entertainment Authority, Turki Al-Sheikh, Joe Tessitore, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development & Creative Shawn Michaels, Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, Logan Paul, and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Morgan was brought out to the stage for her first official WWE appearance since mid-summer. She stood with The Undertaker on one side, and Vaquer on the other. There was a brief Q&A portion of the press conference, but Belair was the only female Superstar to sit, or speak.

Liv Morgan is currently trending on social media for today’s appearance. Several people have commented on how this is a good sign for the future, with the idea that officials still see the RAW Superstar as one of the faces of WWE. Liv’s fans are also excited to see her return with a another singles push.
