Liv Morgan has hit out at WWE over their “sh*tty” Extreme Rules poster as the star continues to feel disrespected.
Money In The Bank was the biggest night in the young career of Liv Morgan. The SmackDown star won the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match before cashing in the briefcase to defeat Ronda Rousey to claim the SmackDown Women’s Title.
Confident in her own ability, and adamant that she had only been defeated as a fluke, Rousey got her rematch at SummerSlam. Despite the former UFC star being in control for much of the contest Morgan eked out the win, but it wasn’t without controversy. As Morgan tapped out from a submission, she also pinned Rousey’s shoulder’s to the mat. The referee only saw Rousey’s shoulders pinned to counted the pin-fall.
This caused Rousey to snap and attack the referee, getting a fine and suspension for her troubles.
After eventually being reinstated, Rousey once again became number one contender for the SmackDown Women’s Title setting up the Extreme Rules match against Morgan.
The Champion has now taken WWE to task over a new poster for the event which only features the challenger. In recent weeks Morgan has felt increasingly disrespected, with many tipping Rousey to win their rematch easily.
“I was never supposed to be your girl @WWE but the people made me THEIR girl Keep ur sh*tty poster.”
