This injury reportedly occurred during a recent TV segment involving Raquel Rodriguez.

Private Party Crowned AEW Tag Team Champions

Bobby Lashley wasn’t the only shock during last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

In a thrilling climax to the show, Private Party secured their first-ever AEW World Tag Team Championship, toppling The Young Bucks in a hard-fought match.

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen rose to the occasion, overcoming the AEW EVPs to claim the victory.

However, the celebration quickly turned tense as The Young Bucks made a swift exit to evade Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club.

Their escape, however, left ally Brandon Cutler vulnerable, and he ultimately faced a brutal attack by BCC, closing the show with ominous implications for The Elite.

Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley Makes Shock AEW Debut

Original Bobby Lashley AEW Plans, Why Was Debut Delayed?

After months of speculation, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley made his much-anticipated AEW debut on Fright Night Dynamite.

The October 30th episode packed in plenty of surprises, with Lashley’s arrival being the ultimate twist.

The main event saw Swerve Strickland claim victory over Shelton Benjamin in a grueling match. But after the final bell, MVP called in reinforcements, prompting Lashley’s electrifying entrance.

Absent since May, Lashley joined forces with MVP and Benjamin, forming an imposing faction tentatively dubbed “The Hurt Syndicate.”

Together, the trio launched a ruthless assault on Prince Nana and Strickland, closing the show with Lashley and his allies standing victorious in the ring.

Dave Meltzer

Dave Meltzer Concerned Over Recent AEW Booking

Dave Meltzer recently raised concerns about AEW’s current storyline involving Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club (BCC), warning it could mirror the pitfalls of WCW’s nWo arc.

Over recent weeks, Moxley has led the BCC in a “hostile takeover,” seizing the AEW World Championship and leaving multiple babyfaces down and out. This dominance has now prompted Orange Cassidy to step up and challenge Moxley at Full Gear.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer cautioned AEW to avoid the mistakes of WCW, where the nWo’s unchecked control eventually weakened the babyface roster and dragged down long-term interest. He remarked:

“While the nWo was a success short-term, long-term it was a disaster… They didn’t keep the babyfaces strong.”

Meltzer’s bottom line? AEW needs to give its top heroes room to shine or risk undermining them as WCW did.
