WWE Reportedly Eyes Roxanne Perez as Liv Morgan’s Replacement for Evolution 2 Match

Roxanne Perez Addresses Future WWE Main Roster Call-Up

Liv Morgan’s recent shoulder injury during her match with Kairi Sane on the June 16th episode of Raw has left WWE reconsidering plans for the highly anticipated Evolution 2 event. The bout was halted early after Morgan suffered what WWE confirmed to be a dislocated shoulder, and with reports suggesting she could be sidelined for up to 16 weeks, her involvement at Evolution 2 is now in serious doubt.

According to WrestleVotes via a Q&A on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, WWE originally planned a tag match featuring The Bella Twins vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, potentially for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, with Morgan possibly out of action, Roxanne Perez is now being considered as her replacement in the match. While it’s not confirmed, the move would allow WWE to preserve the match as planned while giving Perez a major spotlight.

Meanwhile, Tommy Dreamer gave an in-depth analysis of Morgan’s injury on Busted Open After Dark, describing how the fall likely led to her shoulder’s hyperextension and dislocation. Dreamer, who has endured similar injuries, emphasized the importance of a cautious rehab process and praised Morgan’s resilience.

With Evolution 2 on the horizon and Liv Morgan’s status uncertain, all eyes are now on WWE’s next move—and whether Roxanne Perez will be the one to step up.

Tommy Dreamer Breaks Down Liv Morgan’s Injury, Urges Fans to Support Her Recovery

WWE Star Thanks Liv Morgan For Saving Them From Embarrassing Moment

Liv Morgan suffered a tough injury during her brief match against Kairi Sane on the June 16th episode of Raw, with WWE confirming she dislocated her shoulder after taking a takedown early on.

Wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer broke down the injury on his “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, explaining from his own experience how sudden and painful a shoulder dislocation can be.

Dreamer described how Liv’s body positioning during the fall likely caused the hyperextension that led to the injury, emphasizing how it’s something that can impact her for life and requires careful rehab to avoid rushing back too soon.

He also sent a heartfelt message to Morgan, praising her talent and mental strength while urging fans to support her through what will be a challenging recovery.

Dreamer highlighted the emotional toll injuries take on wrestlers, especially when they’re at their peak, reminding everyone to appreciate Liv’s hard work and wish her well as she begins the long road to healing.

Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair Credits Ronda Rousey for Making Historic WrestleMania Main Event Possible

Charlotte Flair & Ronda Rousey WWE

Ronda Rousey is often credited as a key figure behind one of WWE’s most historic moments at WrestleMania.

After debuting in the ring at WrestleMania 34 in 2018, Rousey’s time in WWE was relatively short, ending in August 2023 before she returned to wrestling on the indie scene.

Yet, it was her involvement in WrestleMania 35 that truly made history. The main event that year, featuring Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, was the very first women’s match to close out WrestleMania—a milestone that changed the landscape for women’s wrestling in WWE.

In a recent conversation with Julian Edelman on the Games with Names podcast, Charlotte Flair reflected on the significance of that moment, emphasizing that it would not have happened without Rousey’s star power and outside influence.

Flair acknowledged that while some critics questioned Rousey’s wrestling skills, her aura and legitimacy helped elevate the women’s division to new heights.

“We would have not main evented WrestleMania had it not been for Ronda,” Flair said, praising Rousey for bringing credibility and catching on quickly. Despite Flair admitting she personally disliked their WrestleMania 35 match, she recognized how important the storyline was in making history and advancing the cause for women’s wrestling in WWE.

Ric Flair Weighs In On Controversial Promo Between Charlotte Flair And Tiffany Stratton On WWE SmackDown

Thirteen years into her WWE career, Charlotte Flair has made it clear she’s done trying to win over fans.

After a return from injury that saw her win the Royal Rumble but fall short at WrestleMania 41, fail to qualify for Money in the Bank, and now get eliminated from the Queen of the Ring tournament, Flair is leaning fully into her heel persona.

Speaking on Games With Names with Julian Edelman, Flair admitted she’s tired of trying to connect with the WWE Universe, claiming the more she tries to be endearing, the more she’s booed.

Instead, she’s embracing the hate, saying she’ll just make fans despise her by boasting about her greatness and pedigree.

Flair, a 14-time women’s champion, acknowledged that being Ric Flair’s daughter and having early success hasn’t helped her relationship with the fans—but at this point, she’s leaning into the villain role and clearly enjoying it more.

As she put it, if people are going to hate her no matter what, she might as well make it entertaining.

Sasha Banks

Mercedes Moné Confirms Relationship With AEW Star The Beast Mortos:

Mercedes Mone Names Top 5 Dream Matches; Believes One Would Be An All-Time Great

After months of speculation, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné has officially confirmed she’s in a relationship with fellow AEW star The Beast Mortos.

The buzz began when Mortos shared a romantic photo on Instagram with the caption “en tus brazos encuentro paz” (“In your arms I find peace”), prompting fans to question their status.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, Moné—formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE—addressed the rumors directly, calling it “a real beauty and the beast situation.”

The timeline of when the pair began dating remains unclear, but the revelation comes about a year after Moné filed for divorce from Sarath Ton, her husband of eight years.

Despite their split, the two reportedly remain on good terms. Moné has had a major year, winning the TBS Championship and the 2025 Owen Hart Women’s Tournament, and is now set to face Toni Storm at All In 2025.

Meanwhile, Mortos balances his wrestling career with law school, building a résumé that’s just as unique outside the ring as it is inside it.

Bubba Ray Dudley

Bubba Ray Dudley Slams Goldberg vs. Gunther Setup as 'Insulting' and Illogical

"Lucky Not To End Up In Hospital": Former WWE Star Looks Back On Match With Goldberg

Goldberg’s return to WWE on the June 16th episode of Raw didn’t impress everyone—especially not Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley.

The WCW legend confronted Gunther and challenged him to a title match set for July 12th’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, reigniting tensions from their previous Bad Blood standoff. But for Dudley, the comeback lacked logic and storytelling.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, he called the creative direction “insulting,” criticizing WWE for pushing a match with no build-up or explanation.

“Did Gunther issue an open challenge? No,” Dudley argued, questioning who approved the match and why. He suggested a more compelling approach involving on-screen authority figures like Nick Aldis and Triple H to organically set up the bout, emphasizing the need for narrative consistency.

For Dudley, the current path feels like WWE forcing a moment rather than earning it, and he believes that until fans push back, storytelling shortcuts like this will continue.

Liv Morgan Breaks The Internet With Jaw-Dropping NSFW Post

Liv Morgan has done it again.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has broken the internet with another viral photo.

This time Morgan, accompanied by Dominik Mysterio, have recreated the suggestive album art on Sabrina Carpenter’s new ‘Man’s Best Friend’ album.

Record-shattering star Sabrina Carpenter has become a firm favourite inside the WWE with Tiffany Stratton, Blake Monroe and now Liv Morgan implementing her into their acts.

Stratton has been actively pushing for Carpenter to play her to the ring at WrestleMania whilst Monroe referenced Carpenter’s ‘Juno‘ lyrics on last night’s episode of NXT.

Liv Morgan however has now taken it one step further getting on her hands and knees whilst Dominik Mysterio grabs and pulls her hair in a very, very suggestive manner.

The post has already amassed 300,000 likes and over six million impressions across Instagram and X in less than 24 hours.
