WWE Hall of Famer Lita Set To Make SmackDown Return

SmackDown On FOX rolls into Nebraska on the road to the Royal Rumble and WWE has announced that WWE Hall Of Famer Lita will be on the show.

Lita was part of a host of former WWE Superstars that were announced for the women’s Royal Rumble match on the 7th of January edition of SmackDown by Charlotte Flair. The former four-time WWE Women’s Champion will also be joined by the likes of The Bella Twins, Summer Rae, and perhaps most surprisingly, IMPACT Knockouts Champion, Mickie James.

Despite being SmackDown Women’s Champion, Flair herself has announced her desire to enter and win the women’s Royal Rumble, repeating the feat she achieved in 2020.

WWE has also announced that the fans in Cornhuskers country will see former Shield brothers and WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins go face to face ahead of the Royal Rumble. Rollins was announced as Reigns’ number one contender for the Universal Title last week, laughing in The Tribal Chief’s face.

As well as all this action, Sami Zayn will attempt to “out Jackass” Johnny Knoxville on his own ‘InZayn’ show on SmackDown. Jackass star Knoxville was the first and as of yet most surprising name to declare themselves part of the men’s Royal Rumble.

SmackDown will also see a singles debut for a brand newcomer as Aliyah competes in her first one-on-one match on the blue brand as she faces former SmackDown Women’s Champion, Natalya.
