Lita recently contended Becky Lynch at the Elimination Chamber event, but now she seems to be eyeing up Rhea Ripley.
The WWE Hall of Famer returned to WWE programming on the 7 January broadcast of SmackDown, unveiled as a competitor in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match. ‘The Queen of Extreme’ ultimately wouldn’t win the bout, being tossed out by SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair after just over ten minutes spent inside the ring. A subsequent loss to Becky Lynch, who defended the Raw Women’s Championship, at Elimination Chamber followed suit.
However, Lita‘s recent appearance on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions has seen her seemingly target former Raw and NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley in a much different manner. Jokingly, she hypothetically stated that she’d stalk ‘The Nightmare’:
“She’s my favourite person right now. I’m obsessed with Rhea Ripley. She shouldn’t be worried, but if I were to stalk somebody, it would be Rhea Ripley.”
"She's my favorite person right now!" 👀

This, naturally, should be construed as satire, or at the most, a distasteful WWE storyline waiting to fail.
Lita and Rhea briefly shared the ring during the aforementioned women’s Royal Rumble match at the end of January, though there was no focus between the duo to cause speculation of a future angle between them. Ripley would be dumped out just after Lita was, also succumbing to former WrestleMania foe, Charlotte Flair.
During her chat with ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’, Lita also heaped praise on the likes of Shotzi, Molly Holly, and legendary rival Trish Stratus. The full appearance can be viewed on Peacock in the United States, and the WWE Network everywhere else.
