Linda McMahon has found herself trending on social media after a series of controversial remarks concerning US immigration policy.
Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon has sparked controversy on social media, following a recent post where she was critical of the current United States government’s stance on immigration.
In the post on Twitter, McMahon was pictured at the US boarder along with Chad Wolf. Alongside the photo, McMahon wrote that an open boarder is a danger to the country. Describing the number of “illegals” entering the United States as unsustainable.
The number of illegals entering the US isn’t sustainable!
@ChadFWolf & I visited the border & spoke w/ @CBP as they fight against the overwhelming # of ppl entering the US illegally
We deserve BETTER than a govt that believes in/allows open borders. It’s a danger to our country

Linda McMahon served as World Wrestling Entertainment CEO from 1997 until 2009 when she left her post to pursue a career in politics. McMahon ran as a candidate for the US Senate in 2010 and 2012, but was unsuccessful on both occasions.
She later became a major Republican donor and fundraiser before assuming a role as a government official in the Trump administration. During this period she was appointed administrator of Small Business Administration by President Trump.
After leaving the cabinet in 2019 she became chairwoman of America First Action, a pro-Trump Super PAC.
In 2021, the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) announced McMahon as the new Chairman of the Center for the American Worker.
Despite her political career, and not holding a formal WWE role since 2019, McMahon remains a minority owner of the company.
