Lince Dorado has called out the parent of a well-known wrestling personality after they mocked the star following his release by WWE on social media.

On November 4th Lince Dorado was released by WWE alongside a number of other Superstars. The Puerto Rican star was far from alone in leaving the company after the latest round of cuts with the likes of Nia Jax, Keith Lee and Karrion Kross also being let go.

After the news broke that Dorado had been released, Cody Silagyi, the father of wrestling personality Izzy, posted on social media mocking him for being released writing, “ Good Luck in your future endeavors,” with a smiley face emoji.

In response, Dorado called out Silagyi in a post of his own.

Silagyi followed this up with an apology, before deactivating his Twitter account. You can read the apology below.

“Lince, No need to talk because I have truly already said too much. I am man enough to admit when I’m wrong. I sincerely apologize for my insensitive tweet on Thursday. Deleting the tweet is not enough. I owe you a direct apology. I also recognize and respect what you are dealing with professionally in this moment. I should have never made such a rude, off the cuff remark. Again, I truly apologize for my actions. You are a talented wrestler I know that you will continue to thrive in the pro wrestling business. I want you to know that with sincerity I do wish you and your family all the best. #apology”

Lince Dorado first appeared in WWE in 2016, taking part in the Cruiserweight Classic. Dorado was eliminated from the competition in the second round by Rich Swann, signing a contract with WWE a month later.

The high-flyer initially formed part of the Cruiserweight division, before forming Lucha House Party alongside Kalisto and Gran Metalik. All three Superstars have now left WWE.
