Current WWE star Lince Dorado has credited Bayley and Charlotte Flair with “saving his life” after he was unable to work before being signed by WWE.
The Lucha House Party star has been competing in the squared circle since 2007 and was part of the first-ever King Of Trios tournament in Chikara. From there he ground out a living on the independent scene before being swooped up by WWE in 2016, taking part in the Cruiserweight Classic Tournament.
Now Lince Dorado has taken to social media to give a peek behind the curtain to his personal life before becoming a WWE Superstar. The Puerto Rican star says he was unable to do his day job in 2014 and so turned to making ring gear to make some money and two of his customers just happened to be two of the biggest stars in WWE:
“2014 I couldn’t teach, so I made gear & wrestled to support my family. 5 people, 2 bedroom yellow townhouse. I had some amazing people ask for gear, a lot, that honestly saved my life. Thanks homies @MsCharlotteWWEy @itsBayleyWWEPS I went back to teaching until I came to @WWE“

Lince Dorado has been a part of the Lucha House Party group since it formed in 2018 alongside Kalisto and Gran Metalik. The trio split in October 2020 due to the WWE Draft that took Dorado and Metalik to Raw and left Kalisto on SmackDown prior to his WWE release.
As of the 2021 WWE Draft, Lucha House Party remain officially free agents after not being drafted to Raw or SmackDown. Lince Dorado last competed back in September on Main Event in a losing effort against Cedric Alexander.
