Lex Luger has opened up on his WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Earlier this year, Cody Rhodes surprised Luger at the DDPY Performance Center, and announced his 2025 Hall of Fame nomination. Last competed in WWE over 30 years ago, Luger is set to be in the same HOF class as the promotion’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H. The Game entering for the second time, this time as a singles star, is set to headline the 2025 class.
During the recent episode of his Lex Expressed podcast, Luger opened up on sharing the same stage as Triple H, and how it will make the moment “extra special” for him.
“Well, I don’t know if there’s any intent behind it, but obviously, you know, I thought about, ‘Wow, I’m going in with Triple H. He’s the headliner, and that’s a huge honor going in the same class with him, with the role, and the way that I’ve seen him come from Hunter Helmsley to that. I mean, just the impact he’s had on the company and everything he’s accomplished and where the company’s headed now, he’s been a big part of that. So that does make it extra special, for sure.”

This year’s ceremony will also induct Michelle McCool, Fred “Typhoon” Ottman and John “Earthquake” Tenta apart from the above-mentioned two veterans.
Lex Luger Has Opened Up On The Biggest Crowd Reaction Of His Career
A few weeks ago at the For the Love of Wrestling convention, Lex Luger revealed the biggest crowd reaction he ever received in his career. Reflecting on the 100th episode of WCW Monday Nitro on 4 August 1997, Luger said:
“The boys in the back didn’t know, which led to that celebration both in the ring and in the locker room, the guys were so excited when that happened, and I found out almost on my way to the ring. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me, Hogan’s going to put me over on national TV for free, on a non-pay-per-view event?’”
“[They said] ‘Well, it’s the 100th Nitro, the fans need something, they’ve left you laying for like 63 straight weeks, we’re going to give them something. Man, that crowd in Detroit, I don’t think I ever had a response like that in my career to a victory, I mean, that roof almost came off that building.”
In other news: Cody Rhodes’ mother has called out John Cena after his recent heel turn.
