The ratings are in for the Tuesday April 20th episode of NXT.
As noted by ShowBuzzDaily, 841,000 people tuned in to the black and gold brand. With a 0.23 rating in the key 18-49 year-old demographic.
This is a slight rise from the previous week where the show pulled in 805,000 fans.
The April 13th episode saw NXT move to a Tuesday night for the first time. By comparison, the episode of AEW Dynamite from April 14th, drew 1.219 million viewers, with a 0.44 rating in the key 18-49 year old demographic.
The latest episode of NXT saw the highly anticipated debut of Sarray. The Japanese star made her North American bow in impressive fashion against Zoey Stark.
The match itself was a typically hard-hitting affair, interspersed with flashes of technical brilliance from the debutant. After Stark had failed with a 450 Splash, Sarray countered with a roll-up but Starks was able to kick out. But Sarray retained the advantage, hitting an Exploder Suplex to pick up a very impressive win.
Elsewhere on the show, Kushida put his newly won Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Oney Lorcan. Kushida picked up the win after locking in the Hoverboard Lock, forcing Lorcan to submit, despite late pressure from the challenger.
Meanwhile, Kyle O’Reilly made his return to the black and gold brand, defeating Cameron Grimes in the main event.
