New details have emerged on Jade Cargill’s injury and absence.
Earlier last month on the November 23rd episode of SmackDown, Jade Cargill was found injured in the parking lot. Seemingly taken out by an ambush, later reports emerged about Cargill suffering multiple injuries.
It was soon followed up by a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer stating that Cargill was legitimately injured and would be sidelined for months. Another report from Fightful Select shared that WWE sources told them that Cargill was written off TV due to a legitimate injury.
However, conflicting reports from PWInsider suggested something else. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Cargill was not injured, and the ambush was strictly based on storyline reasons. Another recent report from PWInsider notes that Cargill is using her time away to engage in other projects and is also currently vacationing in the Bahamas.
Her absence has heavily impacted the current storylines as a former champion has now been crowned the new half of the women’s tag-team championship.

Ahead of her title defense next week, Bianca Belair has now found a new tag-team partner. On the 13th December edition of SmackDown, Naomi was confirmed as Bianca Belair’s new partner.
