Giulia’s highly discussed move to the WWE is experiencing some delays.

At NXT Vengeance Day a mysterious video based off an old Japanese proverb aired leading to many to speculate that Giulia was on her way to the company.

But according to a new report the move is delayed.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Giulia plans to help former STARDOM owner Rossy Ogawa launch his new promotion.

Ogawa was fired from STARDOM for attempting to poach talent for his new promotion but Meltzer notes that many of that STARDOM roster, including Giulia, are expected to follow Ogawa to his new promotion out of loyalty.

This could put a temporary hold on Giulia’s WWE move.

At NXT Vengeance Day Carmelo Hayes betrayed Trick Williams brutally attacking the rising star after his vicious match with NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov.

But during last nights episode of NXT ‘Melo revealed that this was not the first time he has attacked Trick Williams.

Hayes would reveal that he was the mystery attacked who laid out Trick Williams months ago.

Swerve Strickland is one of AEW’s shining stars in 2024 with the former WWE star on track to win his first major World Championship this year.

Many WWE fans would love to see the former Swerve Scott back in WWE, however, according to the man himself he knows where he needs to be and that place is AEW.

Speaking on the Smooth Vega Podcast, Strickland revealed that he was approached about a WWE return when the company first re-hired Hit Row.

But Strickland saw no value in returning to the company at that time and didn’t even answer the phone to management.

Strickland would reveal:

“I needed to be in AEW. When I got the phone call to go back, I didn’t even answer it. It was, ‘Nope.” [h/t Fightful]

Let’s stick on the theme of wrestler arrests but jump from AEW to the WWE.

In late 2023, Morgan was found in possession of marijuana whilst driving in Florida.

Although the volume of drugs found in Morgan’s possession fell under personal use and not intention to distribute this is still illegal in the state of Florida.

In an update provided by PWInsider, despite Morgan being scheduled to appear in court on February 20th, the WWE wrestler’s attorney has issued a plea of Nolo-Contendere on January 31st, meaning that Morgan will accept conviction as though a guilty plea has been issued, but does not officially admit guilt to the charges. Morgan has been ordered to pay a fine of $543 for the offence.

Liv Morgan made her return from injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble and it was reported at the time of her arrest that there was no heat from management on the former champion.

In July 2023, AEW star Cash Wheeler was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm.

Since then not much as been revealed about the arrest with Wheeler able to continue his AEW duties as usual.

Last week however prosecutors moved forward with a hearing for aggravated assault which is now set for February 20th.

Initially Wheeler pleaded not guilty back in April 2023, however, if found guilty Wheeler faces a maximum charge of five years imprisonment/probation alongside a $5000 fine.

At this time Cash Wheeler or the AEW star’s legal party are yet to issue a public statement on the arrest.
