Latest TNA Departure Confirmed

Another member of the TNA roster has confirmed that their time with the company has come to an end.

On April 23rd, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Alan Angels departed the promotion back in December as his contract expired. The update came in April as one subscriber had asked about Angels’ status as he had not been seen on TV for over 6 months but was still listed on the roster page.

On social media, Angels issued a statement confirming the news and thanking TNA for his time with the promotion:

“The thing about wrestling is no matter how much you love it, it doesn’t have to love you back. Wrestling doesn’t owe anyone anything. Not going to lie, this is a big hit to me. I love TNA. It was an absolute dream to wrestle there under a brand that I have watched since I was little. I love the locker room even more and I’m leaving with nothing but good memories of the friends that I have made there.

I am once again starting over and truthfully I have no idea what’s next, but I will never give up.

Wrestling is my passion and has been since the day I started watching as a 7 year old boy. It’s all I think about every second of every day and I can’t imagine ever not doing it.

Thank you to anyone that ever even watched me on a TNA program and just know this isn’t the end for me.”

Angels’ last match in TNA was back in November 2024. He has continued to compete on the independents since.

Another Name Leaves TNA

Throughout late 2024 and in 2025, multiple notable names have departed the promotion either by choice or termination. From the talent side, notable departures have included Jordynne Grace and Josh Alexander, who have since gone on to sign with WWE and AEW, respectively. Additionally, many major backstage names were fired, including Gail Kim.
