Trish Stratus Opens Up About Declining Playboy Offers During Her WWE Career

Making her in-ring return after a gap of almost two years, Hall of Famer Trish Stratus shocked the world when she returned to the 2025 Royal Rumble. Entering at number 25, and surviving around 13 minutes, Stratus left the fans and critics impressed with her performance.

Recently, an update has emerged about Stratus’ future in the promotion. Fightful Select had previously reported that Stratus had been discussed for appearances in the company during Raw’s Netflix premiere.

Now, in another recent update by Fightful Select, it was noted that Stratus is expected to be involved with the company as it heads to Toronto, Canada for its Elimination Chamber PLE. The promotion has also released new merchandise for Stratus’ 25th anniversary.

She last appeared at the 2024 Money In The Bank PLE, which also took place in her hometown of Toronto.

Lyra Valkyria recently made history when she defeated Dakota Kai to become the first-ever women’s Intercontinental Champion. Impressed with her achievement, Trish Stratus heaped praises on the champion. Speaking to Screen Rant, she said:

“And Lyra is awesome, and I’m so excited to see her get this opportunity. I feel like she came in with a bang and I was waiting for the momentum. It felt like it stopped a little bit. I think this is a great way to catapult her and just continue the momentum that she deserves.”
