A further indication as to the direction in the ongoing storyline between Roman Reigns, The Rock and Cody Rhodes has been provided in regards to the direction for WWE WrestleMania 41.
Following Reigns making his return at SummerSlam to help Rhodes retain the Undisputed Championship against Solo Sikoa, the two former rivals have formed somewhat of an alliance. Teaming together at Bad Blood, the current and former champion defeated The Bloodline in the main event of the show and Reigns saved Rhodes from a post-match beatdown after the bell.
Just as it appeared that Reigns and Rhodes were on the same page, things were shaken up once again as The Rock made his return to TV at the end of the Premium Live Event.
Counting to 3 with his fingers, The Final Boss gestured at the men in the ring before making his way back through the curtain. While there are many theories as to what this might mean, one of the theories is “on the table.”
During a WrestleVotes Q and A on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass, it was reported that the idea of a triple threat between the top 3 stars is definitely in discussion for Las Vegas in 2025:
“My thought is it signifies that’s where we’re going for WrestleMania. 1-2-3 as in Triple Threat match. Yeah, I can tell you that’s on the table. I don’t know for sure if it’s been finalized in any way. It’s October 8. I doubt it’s been finalized, but that idea has been floated and I think it makes the most sense for the company to get those three guys in the ring.”
In a new update, The Rock’s WWE plans are rather surprising.
