The Latest On Bron Breakker’s Swollen Knee And Internal WWE Expectation

WWE star Bron Breakker SummerSlam update

We have an update on the condition of Bron Breakker after WWE SummerSlam Night 1.

Bron Breakker has quickly become one of the fastest rising stars in WWE since he was drafted to the main roster last year, even becoming a two-time Intercontinental Champion in the process. His status was further elevated when he allied with Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins on the RAW after WrestleMania 41, with Bronson Reed also joining them a few weeks later.

Breakker and Reed have continued flourishing on RAW despite Rollins seemingly sustaining a knee injury last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event and going on a hiatus. Through Heyman’s guidance, the pair landed a major tag team match at SummerSlam against Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.

The Oracle’s men vs. the OG Bloodline duo opened this year’s SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Despite the best efforts of Reed and Breakker, they failed to defeat the former World Champions.

However, the group managed to fight back at the end of the night after The Visionary shocked everyone to return and cash in his MITB contract against CM Punk to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. Still, it looks like the group might be dealing with a bit more trouble.

Bron Breakker Was Said To Have A Swollen Knee After His WWE SummerSlam Match

After the opening tag team match, it was noted that Bron Breakker was assisted to the back and was seen limping. While celebrating with The Visionary following his successful cash-in against The Best in the World, the former two-time Intercontinental Champion was also seen taped up with a notable limp.

According to Fightful Select, a fan told the site that the superstar had a photo-op and came in limping after being an hour late. Breakker was said to have been given a chair to sit on for the entire session, and a WWE personnel member told the workers to speed up the process. The fan also noted that Breakker’s knee looked visibly swollen.

The outlet added that when asked regarding Breakker’s condition, the Stamford-based promotion simply noted that he was yet to be medically evaluated, and they hoped it wouldn’t be anything significant.
