Lance Archer Teases Big Change To His Look

AEW star Lance Archer has taken to Twitter to tease a big change to his look.

The ‘Murderhawk Monster’ tweeted a picture that appears to show the remains of the signature multi-coloured braided ponytail he has sported since 2019. He offered no further comment on what this means for his look going forward, except to say “Welp!”.

As this week’s episode of Dynamite has already been taped, we will have to wait a bit longer to see what changes are in store for the big man who has recently been embroiled in a feud with Eddie Kingston. Most recently, on AEW’s Celebration of the life of Brodie Lee, he teamed with The Dark Order’s Evil Uno and Stu Grayson to defeat Kingston alongside his teammates, The Butcher and The Blade.

Lance Archer debuted the ponytail along with a whole new look at NJPW’s G1 Climax tournament in 2019. This was shortly after his long-time tag partner in Killer Elite Squad, Davey Boy Smith Jr. left the promotion. Since then, he has turned a lot of heads as a singles competitor.

After leaving NJPW to join AEW early last year, Archer has lived up to the ‘Monster’ nickname, having gone on a lengthy undefeated streak after aligning himself with Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts.

We will provide full coverage of AEW right here at Inside the Ropes, including any updates on the status of Lance Archer’s hair.
