WWE Superstar Lacey Evans and her husband Alfonso have announced the birth of her second child.
Taking to Instagram, Lacey Evans announced the birth of her baby girl at 4:20 a.m. The new arrival weighed in at seven pounds and eight ounces. The happy couple are yet to confirm a name.
In the post, Evans explained that due to COVID restrictions meaning her family couldn’t be present at the birth in hospital she decided to have her daughter at home.
“I found out shortly after getting pregnant that due to COVID my family wouldn’t get to fully be apart of welcoming our second child into the world. My daughter wouldn’t be allowed in the hospital at all and my husband would have many restrictions. I couldn’t imagine my Lil lady missing it. I couldn’t imagine the limitations and the birthing experience we would be left with……so home it was. Born 4:20am in my recliner. 7lbs 8oz. With my Lil lady and husband by my side the entire time.
I got to see her reaction. I got to watch his smile. It was one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I’ve ever done and She is perfect. I’m going to take a nap now.”
Lacey Evans announced her pregnancy on the February 15th edition of Monday Night Raw. At the time the military veteran was feuding with Charlotte Flair while involved in an on-screen with Ric Flair.
As Evans began her time away from the ring it was revealed that the Superstar had been set to win the Raw Women’s Championship at Elimination Chamber, before carrying the belt into a huge showdown with Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.
Speaking during her pregnancy, Evans also revealed that she consulted WWE over her decision to have a second child.
Everyone at Inside The Ropes sends their congratulations to the Evans family.
