Since igniting a feud with Charlotte Flair which would eventually lead to her joining forces with Flair’s father, Lacey Evans has been in the spotlight like never before.

Evans signed for WWE in 2016 and quickly rose through the ranks in NXT before debuting on the main roster at the 2019 Royal Rumble.

During her time in WWE, Evans has been a vocal advocate for working mothers, herself being a mother to a young daughter.

The ‘Southern Belle’ recently announced that she is expecting her second child, something which has been interwoven with her recent storylines.

Since revealing her pregnancy, Evans has been absent from WWE television, but has gone on to appear on
The Bellas Podcast with Nikki & Brie Bella. Speaking on the podcast, Evans talked in depth about her own story as a mother in WWE, while also expressing her desire to stay with the company long-term and become a coach.

“I want to be in WWE forever. I would love to be, eventually, a coach. That way, when there are moms that are coming through here and young kids — this company is so incredible and I’ve learned so much. From finances, and I’ve made mistakes along the way. I lived in a pull-behind camper in Orlando just to save dimes. I’m crunching numbers, figuring out how to be a mom at all times. My overall goal is to be in WWE long-term, so long that eventually I am a voice for the company for the people that are coming and can help them realize that there are struggles but you don’t have limits. I love this job. If I can help others get this opportunity or be successful, that would be awesome and amazing,”

Since announcing that she was expecting a new arrival, Evans lifted the lid on her decision to become a mom for the second time, commenting that she consulted with WWE, and that everyone in the company had been extremely supportive.
