Lacey Evans Comments On Alliance With Ric Flair

Lacey Evans has thanked Ric Flair for his role in helping Evans defeat Charlotte Flair on Monday Night Raw.

The ‘Sassy Southern Belle’ took to Twitter to say the following:

“Idk what’s better….the win, the money, the suite, or p*ssing off the queen.?? Thank you Daddy @ricflairnatureboy #WorkSmarterNotHarder #RAW.”

During their encounter on Raw, it looked like Charlotte had Evans pinned following the Natural Selection.Ric then put Lacey’s foot on the bottom rope and called for the referee to stop the count.This was followed up with the 16-time world champion holding onto his daughter’s leg during a suplex attempt on Evans.This caused Evans to land on top of Charlotte for the pin and the victory.

Charlotte and her father had words after Ric’s involvement in Charlotte’s match on the previous week’s Raw.Charlotte warned her dad to stay out of her business after he appeared to inadvertently cost her and Asuka their tag team match with Evans and Peyton Royce.

After a few months out of action, Charlotte Flair made a surprise return at December’s TLC event. Here ‘The Queen’ teamed with Asuka to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Lacey Evans has recently formed an alliance with Peyton Royce.With the Royal Rumble taking place this month, it is expected that both these competitors will be announced for the Women’s match.Charlotte was previously announced for the match she won last year on January 4th.

WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW announcer, Jim Ross, has advocated the use of more romance based stories in wrestling.It remains to be seen if WWE treads this road with Lacey Evans and Flair, but anything is possible in WWE!
