LA Knight jokingly admits that at times he would like to have John Cena’s greatest superpower.
Now one of the biggest babyfaces on SmackDown, Knight has become more popular than ever and is more likely to be recognised wherever he goes. With both Cena and The Rock being in similar positions at points in their career, Knight was asked by the Getting Over podcast if he has talked to either of the Hollywood stars about advice on the matter.
Knight quipped that he would like their advice on how to hide from the public at certain points, before going on to describe the conversations he has with Triple H on a regular basis:
“Now, I mean, there’s certain little things that I want to ask about. How I can just hide myself in different ways. How do you how do you deal with that? I haven’t really had that particular conversation. I mean, I always kind of try to grab Hunter whenever I can, and just kind of get a litmus test to where things are going, because I always need to know the direction. That’s going to dictate what I’m doing, how I’m doing. Maybe it’s a conversation I should have, now that you bring it up,” he said.
“I am the type that I just am not going to want to bother people with that. Again, that protection element comes in when I’m just like, ‘You know what, I’m just gonna not sweat this’, or at least appear that I’m not sweating it, and that’ll be good enough.
WWE fans still joke to this day that they can’t see Cena in photos or video clips, a callback to his “You can’t see me” catchphrase that has been used for nearly all of his career.
LA Knight Returns To WWE
The Megastar forced plans to be changed on a recent episode of SmackDown due to testing positive for COVID-19. The original plans were for the SmackDown star to appear in the final segment of the September 22nd show, but the diagnosis forced LA Knight to be pulled from the main event. Knight returned the following week and declared that he would team with Cena to face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at WWE Fastlane.
H/t to Fightful.
