LA Knight has recalled his experience of working with this WWE Hall of Famer.
Since his main roster debut in 2022, LA Knight has become arguably one of the most over-stars on the roster. With feuds against several big names in the company, and the United States Championship win against Logan Paul at SummerSlam, Knight is currently enjoying his stardom.
However, it was not always this dreamy for The Megastar. Rising through the ranks, Knight made his way to the top. Before his run at the Stamford-based promotion, Knight enjoyed a brief stint at NWA in the 2010s.
There, he partnered up with Paul Bearer aka Percy Pringle. Pringle worked as his manager and often paired up with him during his fights. The two stood strong together until the very end, before Pringle passed away. Joining the list of other great names managed by Bearer, LA Knight believes it fulfilled one of his goals that he never could have set for himself.
Speaking with Jazzy’s World, Knight opened up on his relationship with the Hall of Famer.
I do, and he was just an awesome guy who, like, it’s so crazy in this business because there’s some times where you’ll set goals for yourself, and then there are some times where these other goals will come in that you didn’t even know you could set for yourself and that was one of the first ones where it was like oh my gosh I can be amongst all the great names that he had managed i mean if you look in the past, of course The Undertaker but he had managed Rick Rude, Steve Austin like you name all these different guys that he’d managed where it’s like okay now I’m kind of rubbing elbows with those guys.
I’m a part of that crew and to have him man he was such a good mentor in the sense that like if i ever had a question or any kind of frustration, I could voice it to him, and he would get back to me, not just with the advice, but he’d give it to me and be so thankful that I asked, which to me just spoke volumes to the man.
You know what I mean? Behind the camera, he liked to be super silly, always messing with people. We’d be cutting promos and stuff, and he’d be back here behind the camera, just whether it was, mooning people or whatever, what kind of crazy stuff where it’s just trying to get a reaction out of people where it’s just dumb stuff. But he was a lot of fun to be around.”

Knight is now scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura later tonight at Survivor Series WarGames.
Kevin Nash Once Addressed His “Heat” With LA Knight
Earlier last year, Knight found himself at the critical end of veteran Kevin Nash’s remarks. The former nWo member called out Knight on his podcast and labeled him as a complete “rip-off of The Rock”. The current champion then followed it up with direct shots at him on television.
However, those things are now in the past. This year, the two reconciled, and Kevin Nash now holds a completely different idea about LA Knight.
LA Knight was sitting at the end of the table and I sat down at the table behind him and he turned around and I just said to him, ‘So, are you finally getting to go over tonight?’ He goes, ‘Something like that.’ He seemed like a really nice guy. There was no heat between us. Nobody is trying to hurt anybody this business. I wasn’t trying to take food off his table.”
