LA Knight Reveals Why Pitch Black Match With Bray Wyatt Will Give Him The Advantage

Bray Wyatt LA Knight

All eyes of the wrestling world will be watching the Pitch Black match between LA Knight and Bray Wyatt this Saturday at the Royal Rumble, Wyatt’s first televised match since returning to WWE this past October at Extreme Rules.

Bray Wyatt last wrestled on TV at WrestleMania 37 in 2021 as The Fiend facing Randy Orton. Knight and Wyatt have been embroiled in a feud since November with it culminating in the Pitch Black Match. The company haven’t announced any details of what the match will entail.

“This Guy Plays With Puppets” – LA Knight On Bray Wyatt

LA Knight spoke with Chris Van Vliet ahead of the Royal Rumble and had a lot to say about his showdown with Wyatt.

“The guy plays with puppets, is that a scary thing? It’s not a puppet room match, it’s in the dark. If there’s one thing that doesn’t bother me, it’s the dark. And so you’re looking at what’s in store for this? I don’t think he knows what’s in store. I don’t know, I don’t think anybody really knows entirely what’s in store for this.

“I think at some point it’s going to be, at least I’m going in with the mindset it’s gonna be a kick ass fight. And whether that means the lights are completely out, whether it’s broad daylight, whatever it is. At the end of the day, if you ask me, just because I’m not a creature of circumstance, I’m more of a creator of circumstance. So in my mind, I’m thinking okay, lights are out, pitch black, what do I have to do to adapt to that situation? What that means it is advantage LA Knight.”

Knight and Wyatt came face to face this past Monday night on the WWE Raw 30th Anniversary special. Knight came out to hype the upcoming Rumble match against Bray Wyatt before the familiar gong of The Undertaker’s entrance music as the lights went out. Then suddenly Kid Rock’s music hit and The American Badass descended to the ring on his motorcycle for the first time in 20 years.

As Wyatt eventually joined the fray, Knight found himself on the receiving end of a Sister Abigail from Wyatt before Bray and Undertaker had a stare off and The Dead Man whispered something unknown to Wyatt.
