LA Knight Needs A Spark To Reignite His Flame, Says WWE Veteran: “That Star Has Dimmed”

LA Knight Needs A Spark to Reignite His Flame, Says WWE Veteran:

Booker T has shared his thoughts on LA Knight’s popularity and stance in WWE.

Although 2023 was the year that Knight went on his meteoric rise and became one of the most popular acts in the entire company, 2024 was the year when The Megastar finally felt validated. Defeating AJ Styles at WrestleMania and defeating Logan Paul at SummerSlam to win the United States Championship, his first on the main roster, Knight is receiving his long overdue recognition within the company.

On the November 15th episode of SmackDown, Knight was attacked by a returning Shinsuke Nakamura, who has been absent from TV for over 6 months. Discussing the recent interaction on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T believed that the United States Champion would benefit from the rivalry, adding that he thinks Knight has not had the same spark he once had:

“I like that matchup as well. LA Knight needs something to spark his flame again. It seems like he’s gone dim just a little bit. Seems like that star has dimmed just a little bit. So I think Shinsuke Nakamura will definitely be the right person. I love Shinsuke. I love everything about him. So yeah, I like that,”

LA Knight Addresses Unique Promo Style

With his blend of charisma, catchphrases and insults, Knight remains one of the most entertaining promos on SmackDown each week. However, in a recent interview, LA Knight candidly spoke about his brash promo style and how he can sometimes get in trouble with management.

In a new interview, a top AEW star has praised LA Knight for being a 20-year overnight success.
