LA Knight And Grayson Waller Will Meet In Last Man Standing Match

LA Knight Grayson Waller

The tension between LA Knight and Grayson Waller will come to a head next week in a Last Man Standing Match!

Grayson Waller and LA Knight have been at odds for months, ever since Waller tried to take LA Knight’s spot hosting Halloween Havoc. Things first came to a head in December, when LA Knight claimed that he would make Grayson Waller pay for his actions, but was attacked by the Australian later in the show, writing him off television with an injury. Not content to injure his opponent, Waller also stole his victim’s car to add insult to injury.

LA Knight returned to NXT at the behest of AJ Styles, who had also been embroiled in a feud with the brash upstart during Knight’s absence. Because of the beatdown Knight inflicted, Waller secured a restraining order against his foe, which hasn’t been entirely effective, despite the young star hiring the herculean Sanga as a bodyguard.

The restraining order was thrown out the window on last week’s episode, when the two faced off in one on one competition, with Grayson Waller standing tall after pinning his opponent with a handful of tights following interference from Sanga. However, Knight got the upper hand after the match and ran off the dastardly duo.

On the latest episode of NXT 2.0, the former Eli Drake declared that he’d had enough of this, and that the issues between the two needed to be settled once and for all.

“I’m gonna put it to you like this. That’s two times, you and me in this ring, every single time I’ve walked out standing tall with your ass laying. Every time. So I’ll tell you what, you’re all about your likes, you’re all about your tweets, your DM’s. And this past week, I got a good feeling you’re all about some blocks, because everyone on Twitter has been calling you out for the punk you are, because you got your ass whipped in the middle of this ring one more time.

So I’m gonna put it to you like this. You can sneak out the cheap victory, but at the end of the day, every single time, I’m the one standing. So why don’t you prove it to me? Prove you’ve got a shred of manhood in those marbles you’re carrying around, and tell me if you can leave me laying. Last man standing.”

Waller accepted the challenge, stating:

“You know what? Next week, I’m getting all the likes, and I’m getting all the swipes. I’m going viral one more time. Grayson Waller will be last man standing.”

The young star who’s attempting to go viral was the first to be involved in a crossover feud between NXT 2.0 and Monday Night Raw when he called out AJ Styles on social media. Currently, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode are embroiled in a rivalry with Tommaso Ciampa and NXT Champion Bron Breakker. According to one report, these types of crossovers are set to continue.
