LA Knight has commented on his unfortunate slip at WWE Crown Jewel.
At Crown Jewel, LA Knight successfully defended the United States Championship against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in a Triple Threat match. During the match, Knight attempted to jump to the top rope from the mat, but unfortunately overshot and landed crotch-first on the rope.
On the post-show, Big E asked how Knight was following the incident. The star said the landing thankfully caught his inner thigh. Instead of complaining, Knight plans to redo the move as many times as it takes to get it right.
“Thankfully, it was more inner-thigh that caught that. What’s crazy is, I overshot the hell out of that. You see my heel slip, bop, there it went. That stuff happens.
“Instead of me whining, crying, complaining about it. You know what’s going to happen? Instead of celebrating, probably for the next three or four days, I’m going to be in a ring and I’m going to be doing three to five sets of ten and hitting that thing over and over again. I’m a little hot about it when I think about it.
“At the same time, recovery, ended up working out. At the end of the day, still walking out with my United States Championship.”
LA Knight Is Looking For More WWE Gold
LA Knight wants to face Cody Rhodes or Gunther in a Title vs. Title match. The star plans to go after champions as he continues to move up in WWE. However, another star he would be open to facing at WrestleMania 41 is John Cena, who will compete on the Grandest Stage Of Them All for the last time in 2025.
