Kylie Rae will return to professional wrestling this summer after stepping away in 2020.
Rae will return to wrestle for Warrior Wrestling, where she still holds the Women’s Championship, in Chicago on Saturday June 5th following her heartbreaking announcement in November that the former AEW and IMPACT star would be stepping away from the ring..
The Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion had previously been scheduled to wrestle at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory in a Knockouts Championship Match with Deonna Purrazzo, but that match would be pulled from the card late on, with Rae confirming she was stepping away from wrestling – stating that she was “unwell” and was no longer a professional wrestler. Kylie Rae also deactivated her Twitter account, stating that she was taking a break from social media. Rae’s Twitter is still currently inactive.
Warrior Wrestling has not announced who will challenge Kylie Rae, but they said the timing of the announcement, which was during last night’s AEW and NXT shows, may have been a hint.
