WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has claimed one of WWE’s current superstars is “one of the best workers” in pro wrestling.
Kurt Angle is widely regarded as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time having amassed 12 World Championships and multiple other titles in a career spanning over 30 years.
During his time in the ring, one of his most celebrated rivalries was against Brock Lesnar. The pair feuded over the WWE Championship throughout 2003 and put on three stellar singles matches including the main events of WrestleMania 19 and SummerSlam as well as a 60-minute Iron Man match on the September 18th edition of SmackDown.
Speaking on the ‘Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling’ podcast, Angle detailed why he still sees Lesnar as one of the best workers in the business nearly two decades later.
“He’s one of the best workers in the business. Very light, he knows how to go. He knows psychology. The kid, he picked it up very quickly and he was really talented. Very mature for his age back then because he was only like 22 years old when he started in WWE. He always had it. He was a great talent. One of the best.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Kurt Angle also provided the truth behind the legend that he “kicked Brock Lesnar’s ass” in an amateur wrestling match before a SmackDown show.
