WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle suggested that he could wrestle another match or maybe a few after he received some extreme muscle therapy.
In a recent interview with Dr. Beau Hightower on his YouTube channel, Kurt Angle, following the therapy session, humorously expressed his positive feelings, stating:
I’m feeling good, I’m feeling loose I might even go back to the WWE and do a couple of matches.
Dr. Hightower added to the jest by suggesting that Angle may have one more WrestleMania match, drawing a parallel to Vince McMahon‘s appearance at WrestleMania 38. While Angle’s comments were made in a light-hearted manner, they have sparked speculation among fans about a potential return to the wrestling ring. Angle retired from WWE in 2019 following a match with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 ending his incredible 20-plus-year career. After his retirement Angle transitioned to the role of backstage producer until he was released in 2020 due to budget cuts stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Angle also mentioned that he was approached by the UFC before Dana White owned the company. Kurt Angle revealed that he turned down a UFC contract for 10 fights worth $150,000 because he didn’t know what he would do after the Olympics. Additionally, Angle turned down WWE’s first multi-million dollar offer because he wasn’t a fan of pro wrestling at the time. However, after a failed sportscasting role, Angle decided to pursue WWE again and was eventually offered a contract.
When Did Kurt Angle Debut In WWE?
Kurt Angle made his WWE debut in 1999 and his first appearance on the company’s television programming came in March where he took part in an angle with Tiger Ali Singh. Angle’s first televised match came at the 1999 Survivor Series where he defeated Shawn Stasiak.
