WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has sent the perfect response to Arsenal after The Gunners used the Olympic Gold Medalist’s iconic WWE entrance music for their second half arrival in a Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
Arsenal, who have previously used entrance music from Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin as they emerge from the tunnel for the second half, honoured Kurt Angle this time round.
Sharing the clip via his Twitter account, WWE legend Angle would respond to the gesture:
“Arsenal using my theme song. The only thing missing, due to COVID, is 30,000 fans chanting “You Suck”. #YouSuckCovid#itstrue”

Meanwhile, Kurt Angle recently revealed why we didn’t see him at WWE Legends Night, after the company had promoted his appearance on the show alongside Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, among others.
“I had a prior engagement I was committed to. I couldn’t get out of it.”
Unfortunately for Arsenal, Angle’s music didn’t inspire a victory as The Gunners sit in 11th place following their 0-0 draw with a team whose nickname, The Eagles, would make them more fitting for American hero Kurt Angle, so maybe it’s for the best that there wasn’t a crowd in the Emirates Stadium to chant after all…
