Kurt Angle Says WWE Legend Looks Like A “Crazy Nazi”

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle knows Brock Lesnar just about as well as anyone.

When Brock Lesnar took his first steps into professional wrestling he was immediately compared to Angle who had already risen to the top of WWE in recordd time. Both men were accomplished amateur wrestlers with Angle famously winning an Olympic gold medal. Angle was also famed for how quickly he adapted to becoming a pro wrestler, a trend followed by Lesnar.

By the end of 2002, Brock Lesnar was already one of the biggest names in WWE having defeated legends such as The Rock, The Undertaker, and Hulk Hogan. The next person on Lesnar’s list was Angle, and the pair famously met at WrestleMania XIX.

Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed No Way Out 2003, which saw their rivalry continue to build to WrestleMania. At the time, Lesnar was incredibly popular with fans, as he is now, but Angle said that he doesn’t really understand it.

Angle said that he has no idea how Lesnar became a babyface as he’s “miserable” and looks like a “freaking crazy German Nazi.”

“Brock looks like a freaking crazy German Nazi, okay. He has heel written all over him. There’s no babyface Brock. I don’t know how he ended up being a baby face, because this guy doesn’t like people, he doesn’t like life. He’s just miserable. But you know what? He’s actually a really good guy, I’m not gonna lie to you. But Brock is not the babyface type of guy. He’s definitely a heel.”

Kurt Angle To Be At WrestleMania 39

20 years on from his legendary WrestleMania showdown with Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle has confirmed that he’ll be at WrestleMania 39. Speaking on a different episode of his podcast, Angle stated that he’ll be “doing some stuff” for WWE over the weekend.
