Despite their beef being presumed dead and buried, Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair have been trading shots on social media and on their respective podcasts.
The most recent spat between Bischoff and Flair began with the 16-time World Champion branding Bischoff an “arrogant pr*ck” on a recent episode of his podcast. Since then the pair have gone back and forth on social media, and their respective podcasts.
Eric Bischoff later claimed that he couldn’t make any money with Flair in WCW, which forced him to go out and sign Hulk Hogan. Naturally, the Nature Boy didn’t take this lying down and said that all Bischoff was good for was spending other people’s money.
Kurt Angle Urges Ric Flair And Eric Bischoff To Move Past Issues
Speaking on his own podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE legend has now called on his fellow Hall of Famers to move on. Angle said that life is too short to become bogged down in petty arguments.
“Get over the anger issues of the past. Listen, Ric is a great guy, Eric is a great guy, I know they don’t get along really well but life is too short,” he said. “You can’t be reminiscing about bad sh*t that occurred in the past, and hold onto that, that’s not good. That’s not good for them or anybody else.”
In his most recent comments on the falling out Eric Bischoff appeared to try and move past what had happened. The former WCW boss said that he didn’t think it was healthy for them to keep arguing.
“If he wants to face-to-face just kind of talk this thing through and figure out where it’s all coming from and why and look, if I owe Ric an apology for something I said, I’m happy to do that. I just don’t want to participate in the whole social media thing. I just don’t think it’s healthy and again, because of the respect I have for Ric, I don’t want to do it, so I’m not doing it.”
Ric Flair’s new documentary “Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair” premieres December 26th on Peacock.
